Monica Madrid
Monica is entering her 25th year in the field of education. Her career has spanned over 18 years in Stockton Unified School District and 7 years as a consultant to Manteca Unified School District. Prior, Mrs. Madrid held positions in the county and nonprofit arena. She is an alumna of California State University, San Jose and California State University, Sacramento earning a bachelor’s and master’s degree. She has honed her expertise in the areas of student portfolio development, NCAA rules and regulations as well as scholarships.
Karen Tomlin
Karen graduated from University of California, Irvine with a bachelor’s degree. She completed her master’s degree at California State University, Sacramento. She holds credentials in Academic Counseling and School Administration from the California State Department of Education. She has worked in the academic counseling field for over 24 years. Karen stays current on UC, CSU and private university requirements by attending UC/CSU annual counselor conferences, continuing education and continued self-study. Helping students realize their educational goals is her passion.
